With over 15 years of photography experience, alongside an 18-year career in visual effects for film and television, my work is shaped by both technical artistry and a deep appreciation for authentic storytelling. My background in visual effects developed a strong understanding of composition, light, colour, atmosphere, and detail, while photography became the medium through which I could connect those creative skills to real people, real moments, and meaningful human connections.
I believe the most meaningful photographs come from real moments - the quiet in-between interactions, genuine laughter, soft glances, emotion, connection, and the natural rhythm of people simply being themselves. My work leans towards documentary storytelling that is designed to feel relaxed, comfortable, and authentic, creating space for moments to unfold naturally rather than feeling overly posed or forced in front of the camera.
I specialise in natural light photography because I love the softness, warmth, and depth it brings to an image. My photography style is bright, soft, and vibrant while maintaining realistic colour and natural skin tones. I'm drawn to warm tones, rich colour, beautiful depth, and dreamy, blurry backgrounds that help bring emotion and connection to the forefront of every image. I love using natural environments and available light to create photographs that feel timeless, airy, and full of life while maintaining a documentary-inspired approach to storytelling. My editing style is modern with the intention to remain timeless over the years rather than short-lived trends.
My pricing is intentionally designed to keep professional photography accessible while balancing my work across multiple creative and personal passions. Alongside photography, I also work professionally in dog care and walking, which allows me the flexibility to take on photography projects with a more intentional and personal approach rather than operating at high-volume studio rates. This balance allows me to focus on genuine connection, thoughtful storytelling, and creating relaxed, meaningful experiences for every client while still delivering professional-quality imagery and artistic attention to detail.
Outside of client work, I also have a personal passion for wildlife and landscape photography. Spending time photographing nature continues to inspire the way I see light, movement, and storytelling in all areas of my work.
